We conduct an annual literature search on the synergy between reproductive autonomy and environmental sustainability. We screen scientific databases for peer-reviewed and trustworthy literature that addresses and is relevant to the study of the interconnections between reproductive health and rights, population size, and environmental sustainability.
This list of selected research was updated in early 2023, and is organized around seven themes: key articles, gender, population pressure, human reproduction, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), articles critical of linking SRHR, population dynamics and environmental outcomes, and other articles. Our search protocol is available here.
